Privacy Policy

Data Source

This service provides access to publicly available data from the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen / CVR). All company information, ownership records, and financial statements served through this API originate from official public registers.

User Data Collection

This service collects no personal user data. Specifically:

Authentication uses stateless JWT tokens that are not stored on the server.
No user accounts, profiles, or personal information are created or retained.
No cookies or tracking technologies are used.
No IP addresses are logged or stored.

Rate Limiting

Rate limiting is applied per OAuth client ID to ensure fair usage. The client ID is derived from the authentication token and is not linked to any personal information.

Third-Party Services

This service is self-hosted on a dedicated server provided by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Hetzner may collect infrastructure-level logs as part of normal data-centre operations. See Hetzner’s privacy policy for details.

Data Retention

Since no user data is collected, there is nothing to retain or delete. The public CVR data is periodically refreshed from Erhvervsstyrelsen.
